Brain Gym 101

Access Physical Intelligence with Brain Gym®

“The ultimate purpose of education must be not the acquisition of information, but the ability to discover meaning, connectedness, and a sense of belonging in the world. As we discover how to use movement, we prepare ourselves to respond to life with the least effort and the greatest honoring of our personal gifts and resources.”  Gail Dennison, co founder with Paul Dennison, Ph.D.
Educational Kinesiology (Edu-K)

Brain Gym is the world’s most successful learning system and is found in over 86 countries. It is a learning readiness program based on the premise that the deepest, most integrated learning is always drawn out through our kinesthetic experience - our perception of our own movement.

Brain Gym is distinctive in that it addresses the physical (rather than mental) components of learning. It builds on what the learner already knows and does well meeting the learner just as they are, without any judgment of their capabilities. Brain Gym teaches the student key elements of learning theory that they will be able to apply lifelong. It is also used effectively in business, sports and the arts.
